I think I am getting a bit obsessed with clouds.  I’ve always liked the, but living in Dubai has made me go a bit overboard with taking pics of them!  When you don’t see them often, they take on a new beautiful quality that you’ve not noticed before.

As such, here is a an entire post dedicated to the clouds I have seen on this vacation in South Africa!!

Those are some beautiful shots. Nice and clear too! One of my favorite things on a nice crisp day is to look up at the fluffy white clouds. We tend to have a lot in the Pacific North West (Washington State) of the U.S.

    1. Thank you 😊 All taken with an iPhone 6, so I don’t know how they came out so well. I’m sure this phone has better capabilities than my ‘proper’ camera!! And the Pacific North West has just been added to my travel list if you have mountains, clouds and crisp days!!

If you come this way and prefer it not to rain I’d shoot for late summer. At least in Western WA. Eastern WA is like a desert and it’s pretty flat once you get over the mountain range. I’d stick to the Washington, Oregon, and Northern California coast 😉 If you’ve ever seen the movie The Goonies, it was filmed in Astoria, Oregon and you can go up and see the house the kids lived in 😉

      2. Thanks for the heads up! (And I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve not seen The Goonies!)

Haha 🙂 Don’t be! It’s a good kid movie.. it may not be that awesome as an adult if you didn’t grow up watching it!
