Bars, Pubs & Clubs in Dubai

I seem to have spent rather a lot of time in venues where alcoholic beverages are sold recently, so thought I would give you my opinions on them! Obviously, as I am a super important entertainment critic, my opinions are the only ones that matter… Not!  If you disagree, that’s ok! Buddha Bar, Grosvenor House,…

Brunch

Dubai’s Friday tradition is brunch. New Yorkers brunch on Sundays. Bermudians brunch on Sundays. Londoners never make it out of bed before lunch times at the weekends so invariably have a late lunch for breakfast which could be classed as brunch. Spa Hen Weekend

Christmas & New Year

Firstly, Happy New Year! Christmas was fairly quiet for us.  Had it not been for my sister’s baby, it would have been a very sad time.  It was our first Christmas without my father.  It is one of the other reasons that I quit my job in Bermuda.  I wasn’t able to come home for…

Packing, Partying & Rugby

The packing does not work with the partying and the rugby at all!  Nor does blogging. I finished work last Friday and haven’t really stopped since.  It has to be said that my final day at work was not easy, but I feel so much better!  According to a couple of friends, I look much…
